Q. Can I please have some samples of the C.O.D.E.S. Framework?

A. Unfortunately, so that we can protect our copyright, we are not able to do this.  We’d be happy to discuss any queries you have over the phone or via email, however. You can download our free poster, which highlights the basic skills covered in the C.O.D.E.S. Framework.

 

Q. I have used the C.O.D.E.S. Framework to set targets, but I need some ideas for activities to support these.  Do you have any recommendations?

A. The C.O.D.E.S. Activity Toolkit, a partner volume to the C.O.D.E.S. Framework, is now available to purchase. It is filled with activities to get you started. Each activity is linked to the Curriculum for Excellence.

 

Q. Can I use the C.O.D.E.S. Framework with adults?

A. Due to the nature of the C.O.D.E.S. Framework, it can be used with adults who have congenital conditions, but it is not suitable for adults with acquired conditions. However, we are in the process of developing a C.O.D.E.S. Framework for adults with acquired difficulties which will hopefully be available in January 2018.

 

Q. Do you offer a version of the C.O.D.E.S. Framework for parents?

A. This is a project called Parents as Active Partners  which we are currently working on until March 2018.  We will hopefully have enough information and experience to put together a framework to be used with parents. However,  we do already offer training for parents whose children have had a C.O.D.E.S. Framework done.  Contact us for more details!

 

Q. Do you offer training on the C.O.D.E.S. Framework?

A. Yes, we do – we can tailor our training to suit your school or centre.  Please contact us for more information .
